Multi-instrumentalist / Singer / Songwriter / Composer
Ben Grenier Canadian musician based in the Laurentians of Quebec, has been devoted to the arts since he was 8 years old. Beginning with drums and then Piano, Guitar and Bass.
Born in Quebec, Benoit soon realized that he loved the english culture and language.
At the age of 18 he left Quebec for Toronto to perfect his English and perform with various musicians.
Upon his return to Quebec, he explored the world of musical production with John Farley (producer for Martine St-Clair).
During this time he discovered his passion, that has guided him since that day, studio musician, composer, arranger and sound engineer.
The 1990’s were a testament to Grenier's professional beginnings. He contributes to the production and arrangement of many albums connecting all musical styles: new age, classical, rock, pop.
The multi-instrumentalist also participates in the soundtrack of these albums as composer and as performer.
Thus, this new introspective motivation adequately and totally completes his calling as a singer-songwriter and composer Influenced by the soundtracks of French film comedies à la De Funès, Mozart and Bach, and by the British hits of the 70s and 80s, this artist creates for the ear an amalgam that succeeds technically and emotionally. Grenier switches from piano, drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals to offer us an old school expression of listening.
Ben is also the Co-Founder of Walk of Life formed in 2013 and Cold Shelter in 2019.
